Krishita Desai is a London-based filmmaker and producer. She holds a First-Class Honours degree in Practical Filmmaking from MetFilm School. Krishita has produced multiple short films, documentaries, and music videos, overseeing projects from development through post-production. She has also directed and worked as an assistant director on a variety of productions. Her work includes collaborations with independent production companies and festival-screened projects. Krishita is the founder and Project Manager of Disrupt-her, a CIC supporting South Asian creatives in the UK. She continues to work across film, documentary, and commercial projects, building a portfolio of professional production experience.

Her documentary, Coded Hearts(Director), blends personal grief with storytelling, filmed across India and the U.K, inspired by her own experience of losing her father. She specialises in directing, producing, and assistant directing, managing projects end-to-end from concept and development to on-set coordination and post-production. As Project Manager at DisruptHer CIC, she supports South Asian women in the creative industries, creating work that connects, inspires, and drives impact. Krishita has contributed to writers’ rooms, produced branded content and worked with international filmmakers.
