Krishita Desai is a London-based filmmaker and producer with experience across short films, documentaries, music videos, and commercial projects. She holds a First-Class Honours degree in Practical Filmmaking from MetFilm School and has been producing projects since, overseeing everything from development and shooting to post-production. She has directed and worked as an assistant director, supporting creative teams and ensuring productions run smoothly. Her documentary Coded Hearts, which explores personal and social themes, reflects her hands-on approach and festival-focused work. Krishita has also collaborated with independent production companies on a variety of creative and commercial projects. Outside of her own filmmaking, she is Project Manager at Disrupt-her, a CIC supporting South Asian creatives in the UK through mentorship, networking, and guidance. Krishita continues to work across film, documentary, and commercial projects, combining technical skills with practical experience to bring stories to life efficiently and creatively.

Krishita has contributed to writers’ rooms, produced branded content and worked with international filmmakers.
